COLLEGE COACHES CAMP

Saturday, October 5 at Franklin Ranch

The popular Texas Premier College Coaches Camps will again be hosted over three weekends at The Ranch in Franklin, TX. Saturdays will be open to all 14U-16U teams. The price to attend the camp is $200 per player. Details of the camp scheduled for Saturday, October 5, including college coaches attending and daily schedule, are below.


DAILY SCHEDULE

Skills Combine 

All participating players will participate in a comprehensive skills combine where they will test different skill sets and measure performance metrics specific to their position(s). Following the camp, every participating player will receive (by email) an evaluation with grading scales and player comparison data. Each participant will also receive an online player profile using a virtual combine service, which can be utilized by college coaches and pro scouts year-round. College coaches will be in attendance to evaluate all players throughout the duration of the combine. The skills combine will take place at a new state-of-the-art indoor athletic facility, ensuring prime measurements.

Speed and Agility

  • 60-yard dash

  • 20-yard shuttle

  • Broad jump

  • Grip strength

Velocity Testing

  • Pitch velocity (all)

  • Catching pop time

  • Position player velocity

  • Exit velocity (batting)

College Coaches Panel

Following the skills combine, the college coaches in attendance will participate in a moderated panel discussion, answering questions concerning player development, college recruitment, scholarship offers, academic eligibility, and more. Have a question you would like asked? Simply include your question at registration and we will do our best to include it during the panel discussion!

In addition to the skills combine, teams will play one 8-inning game in front of college coaches in attendance. Games will be held at The Ranch in Franklin, TX, which provides some of the best playing facilities in Texas with four fields all in close proximity to each other, allowing college coaches to move from field to field with relative ease when working with different teams and players.
